Rice Kheer Recipe - How to prepare Rice Kheer in an easy way?



Rice Kheer is a traditional favorite sweet in all across India, where it is one of the most preferred options for weddings and other special occasions. Though there are many Kheer recipes in India such as Sabudana Kheer, Badam Kheer, Carrot Kheer, Kaddu ki Kheer and Vermicelli Kheer, Rice Kheer is one of the instant sweet which can be easily prepared. Here we are showing you how to prepare Rice Kheer.




 Cooking time:  30 min         


Main Ingrdients


Milk                11/2 litre
Rice                75 gms

Other Ingredients

Khoya                150 gms
Sugar                6 tbspn
Almonds (blanched)        10 no.s
Cardamom powder         1 tea spoon


Method:-

1.Clean the rice and soak for 2 hours.
2.Boil the milk in  the pressure cooker .
3.Drain soaked rice and add it to the boiled milk. Stir for one minute. Close the lid place.
4.Bring to full cooking after sometime reduce to medium heat and open.
5.Add sugar and cook for about 8 minutes.
6.Decorate kheer with cardamom powder and blanched almonds.
you can serve the rice kheer,and it stays good for 1-2 days in the refrigerator.
