Paneer Motor Curry


Preparation    :10 mins.
Cooking        :15 mins
Seres             :5/6.

Main Ingrdients
  1. Fresh shelled peas              400 gms
  2. Paneer    (lightly fried)        200 gms


Other Ingredients
  1. Onion                                100 gms (cut into pieces)
  2. Tomatoes                           200 gms
  3. Oil                                     100 gms
  4. Turmeric                           1/4 tsp
  5. Red chillie powder           1/2 tsp
  6. Ginger                              1 inch shreded
  7. salt                                    to taste
  8. and 1 tsp of cumin seeds & coriander powder.

Method:-
  • Heat oil in cooker body and fry onioons till golden brown.
  • Add shreded ginger and some water , followed by turmeric, chilli, coriander, cumin powders, salt and finely cut tomatoes. Fry this till oil separates from masala.
  • Put in peas and fry for 2 mins. Then add water close lid and bring to full cooking pressure on maximum heat. Reduce to medium heat and allow to cook for 3 mins before releasing pressure and open cooker.
  • Add lightly fried paneer and for 2 mins. It is very tasty with coconut rice, puri, chapathi and white rice.
